Isaac Mendoza (Born July 10th, 1986) is an American mid-level manager who is currently serving as the Store Manager of Cloud 9 Store #1144 in Sunnydale, Arizona. As the highest ranking employee of the massive superstore, he is a well-meaning but dim-witted boss full of can-do energy and company pride. 

 

Isaac's career at Cloud 9 began 8 years ago, when he started as a part-time warehouse associate. Over the years, he has worked his way up through the company, recently being promoted to Store Manager in 2016.

 

As a boss, Isaac is friendly, enthusiastic, and for the most part, pretty clueless. He is also extremely carefree, almost to a fault, and his philosophy of management seemingly consists of avoiding difficult decisions all together, which is surprisingly effective. When he does need to make a decision, he tends to gravitate towards impulsive, arbitrary choices that make little sense.

 

Although he may not be the brightest bulb, he does have remarkable flashes of brilliance every now and then, and his ability to always remain 100% confident in everything he does is nothing if not impressive.

His obvious flaws aside, Isaac deeply cares about his friends and coworkers. Between his relentless optimism and fierce loyalty, combined with his absolute lack of self-awareness, Isaac has become extremely popular among the staff of store #1144. His emotional openness has led Isaac to form several close friendships with his coworkers, and while his impulsivity often complicates the store's efficiency, his pure-hearted nature and optimism makes him an endearing ally among the staff.
